GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members serve lunch at Trinity Café in Tampa each month. The clubwomen greet and serve the homeless and food insecure a delicious chef-prepared meal in a very comfortable setting with dignity and grace and a warm welcoming smile.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members has chosen its Volunteer of the Year – Faith Sincich, a longtime member, spanning 3+ decades of her outstanding commitment of time and endless energy, serving her club and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). Ms. Sincich has been tireless in her service and well-deserves this honor. She will now move forward to District and then State GFWC competition to hopefully win the title of GFWC Florida Volunteer of the Year.
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB DELIVERED GIFTS TO SUNRISE OF PASCO COUNTY SHELTER
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members Gail Howard and Roseann Lange delivered 34 gift bags of Christmas presents for each mother and child resident of Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic and Sexual Violence Shelter. The ladies also left candy and cookies for all the residents as well as additional gifts for newly arrived families during the holidays. Domestic violence cases sometimes spike with stress and anxiety within families during these holidays.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB welcomed new members into the club with a beautiful installation ceremony conducted by member & District Director Annette Bellingar and outgoing President Elayne Bassinger presented them with gifts. Sue Chase, Gina Caper, Jean Olsen and Carole Moore (not available for photo) were installed in a candlelight ceremony.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members have voted for named longtime member, KAY TAYLOR, as its CLUBWOMAN OF THE YEAR. Ms. Taylor has contributed in many areas of the club with dedication and generosity, has served as club past president in addition to holding nearly every Board position in the club.
President Elayne Bassinger presented Ms. Taylor with a commemorative plaque for this honor.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB INSTALLS ITS NEW PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members met for a very festive holiday luncheon celebration and their last business meeting of 2023, at which time newly installed President Peggy Andrews received the gavel from outgoing President Elayne Bassinger and the new Board of Directors were sworn into office as well.
The Woman’s Club has served the community and beyond since 1960 and has again passed the torch to the incoming officers who will continue the outstanding and dedicated work of this volunteer organization.
