The Environment committee is busy year round, encouraging members to recycle paper, batteries, and household chemicals properly.
Recent Activities:
Participating in Earth Day at Crews Lake Park in April.
Committee members showed children different growing methods. Some children planted flower seeds in soil. Other children placed pea seeds in hydroponic cups to grow their peas in water. Children could also create art using natural materials such as twigs and stones.
Taking a hike and viewing the Education Center at Brooker Creek Preserve.
