Members Attend GFWC International Convention in St. Louis

July 8, 2018

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB sent a team of members to the recent GFWC International Convention in St. Louis. The local club women joined a large delegation of Florida clubs to share ideas of service opportunities with this international federation of dynamic women volunteering in their communities across the globe and to celebrate their success. The Woman’s Club made a donation to the ‘Rise Against Hunger’ project which feeds needy and food insecure. Hundreds of the delegates worked to package enough foodstuffs to provide 36,000 individual meals for those in need around the world through this “Rise” group.
