GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members, Dianne Finn and Marguerite Humet, recently raised $900 in donations at a community fundraiser for the benefit of Camp Idlewild, in Land O’Lakes, which provides special camp programs and activities dedicated to autistic children and those in the spectrum. In addition, Ms. Finn and Ms. Humet generously donated and delivered over $1,000 worth of in-kind donations of beautiful Christmas décor, lights, wreaths, toys, stuffed animals and much more to make a special festive Christmas season for the children at the camp. The Woman’s Club salutes Dianne Finn and Marguerite Humet for their time and generosity dedicated to Camp Idlewild.
Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club DAY OF SERVICE
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members gathered in a local park to work on a special GFWC “DAY OF SERVICE” Project to benefit their community. The members donated enough socks for the residents of an adult living facility in South Tampa to receive a Christmas “Cracker” gift containing 2 pairs each. The clubwomen worked assembly-line style, efficiently crafting the British cracker rolls, wrapped and decorated each in festive holiday paper and delivered them to the facility.
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB DELIVERS DONATIONS TO TAMPA CROSSROADS
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members delivered large cartons filled with donations of needed hygiene and personal care items and socks to Tampa Crossroads for distribution to their clients. Crossroads serves 3 local counties with counseling, rehab, job training, temporary housing and outreach to veterans and their families.
LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB DELIVERS CUDDLY STUFFED ANIMALS TO FIRE RESCUE STATION IN LUTZ
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB member, Beth Nevel-Rader, on behalf of the club, delivered 17 delightful stuffed animals to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Station 40 in Lutz. These animals are intended to bring comfort and calm to children when the Fire Rescue team arrives at a home during a time of emergency and/or stress and anxiety for the family.

WOMAN’S CLUB DELIVERS NEEDED ITEMS TO A LUTZ ALF
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members, Dee Knerr and Debbie Cardona, delivered a large supply of clothing, hygiene items, socks, slippers and other items needed by residents of Amilcat Care Home in Lutz. The ladies were also able to secure and donate a walker which was much needed by one of the residents.
