GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club had teams of members assisting at Lutz Elementary School’s Annual Fall Festival. The club women manned registration tables for this fun fall event enjoyed by students, their families and the community. The Woman’s Club has supported Lutz Elementary School for many decades through donations and volunteer hours.

GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club members have sewn needed items for the past several months and delivered receiving blankets, baby hospital gowns and comfort pillows to the Florida Hospital Women’s Center. The Woman’s Club has long supported several area hospitals, nursing homes and hospice facilities.

GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club costumed team of membwers recently participated in the American Cancer Society’s annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk at Wiregrass Mall in Wesley Chapel. Chair Ciel Birkett, who coordinated the club event included her grandson in the walk. President Karin D’Amico supervised their sponsored “Little Women of Lutz” club team of teen girls who also participated.
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club, after decades at Lake Park, has moved its hugely popular Annual Arts & Crafts Show to a new location:
Admission is FREE but there will be a per car parking fee collected to benefit the school.
The club women are busily preparing for their 37th Annual juried Arts & Crafts Show, their major fundraiser, which promises to be bigger and better than ever with over 350 vendors, a large Food Court and very ample parking. This very popular show is always a big hit with families enjoying an outing in a festive atmosphere, with good food and very unique holiday shopping. Find that special gift or pick up some beautiful hand-crafted jewelry, original artwork, photography, wood and metal art, plants and yard art.

GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club recently organized a special Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast at Applebee’s to raise funds and awareness of the importance of Canine Companions for Independence. This event was coordinated by Chair Edwina Kraemer and included guests Morton Stone, a very grateful recipient of his service dog, Oscar, as well as very patient ‘puppy raiser’, Bob Hoak with his current puppy, York, who were also present. These club women have long supported and raised funds for this very worthwhile charity.
