Recognizing our 25 Year Members!
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club recently honored two members who celebrated their 25th Anniversary of service to the club and presented them with a commemorative pin. Faith Sincich has held positions and offices, too numerous to mention within the club and Lucy Kraemer has maintained dual memberships in the Gainesville and Hawthorne Woman’s Clubs as well as Lutz-Land O’Lakes. Between them, the two ladies have served over a half century in the largest Federation of Women’s service clubs in the country.
Woman’s Club and Little Women Decorate Club Trees
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club members collaborated with their Little Women of Lutz, each group decorating their respective club trees at the Historic Old Lutz School Annual Christmas display. This very festive community event takes place each December with a Christmas Wonderland of lights, decorations, trains, trees, villages festooning every nook and cranny of this old schoolhouse along with Santa and various choral and musical groups providing entertainment.

Member Sends Holiday Cheer to Our Military
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club member, Gloria Dale, has once again outdone herself in handwriting Christmas and holiday greeting cards for troops serving abroad, veterans at the J. Haley VA Hospital and B. Lopez Veterans’ Nursing Home. Ms. Dale has collected and donated thousands of cards throughout the year, which she further embellishes and handwrites a personal message filled with holiday cheer. To date, more than 3600 cards have been delivered to the ‘Support the Troops’ warehouse to be enclosed in troop gift boxes plus those given to the VA hospital and nursing home for distribution
