December 11, 2019

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members serve the food-insecure and the working poor at Trinity Café each month. The club has long supported this organization and in addition to many volunteer hours, has donated special holiday tablecloths to brighten the tables for the guests.

Woman’s Club Honors Outgoing President

November 26, 2019

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB recently honored outgoing President Karin D’Amico and celebrated her term of office with a lovely flamingo-themed high tea. The club members enjoyed outdoing one another with their flamingo outfits, hats and accoutrements while happily “flamingling”. Ms. D’Amico was presented with a lovely diamond dachshund pendant by the club commemorating her great love of the breed and her work with dachshund rescue. Congratulations and Well Done, Karin!

Club Fundraiser for Domestic Abuse Shelter a Success

November 17, 2019

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB hosted a very successful fundraiser luncheon/game day to benefit Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic Violence Shelter. The venue was awash in members wearing purple clothing, manicures AND hair, as well as table decorations, all to support the designated color of Domestic & Sexual Violence. The clubwomen were pleased to donate $900, plus enough handbags and totes filled with various “wish list” items needed by the residents to fill an entire SUV plus a car.
