GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB DELIVERS COMFORT PILLOWS TO ADVENT HEALTH & MOFFITT CANCER CENTER
GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members, Melba Peneira and Gail Howard, delivered large bundles of hand-sewn pillows to Advent Health Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center. These pillows provide comfort to breast cancer patients post-surgery and are made with love by a team of talented club members.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB member, Madeline McCulloh, delivered a van filled with current business-appropriate suits and dresses to ‘Dress For Success’. This organization prepares women in need to dress appropriately when applying for jobs and to assist them in returning to the workforce. The Woman’s Club seeks to support women in as many areas as possible so they may succeed and support themselves and their children.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members Melba Pineiro, Nancy Allen and Gail Howard have collected and delivered a pickup truck filled with clothing donations to the Solutions Thrift Store in Dade City, which store profits benefit Sunrise of Pasco Domestic Abuse Shelter. The Woman’s Club has supported this vital shelter for decades with many, many donations as well as fundraisers.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members swept, scrubbed and swabbed the decks of the Old Lutz School classrooms after the club’s recent Flea Market on site. The clubwomen put everything back in place and left it fresh and clean in appreciation for the Old School’s permitting the club to use its facility and the grounds.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members have wrapped up their huge annual Flea Market fundraiser at the Old Lutz School and wish to thank all who have contributed to its success, whether by generous donations of goods or by their purchases. The Flea was a big success and will go far in providing scholarship awards as well as funding the club’s many projects benefitting our community and beyond.
