GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club was delighted to have the help of their GFWC Little of Women of Lutz members assisting with the annual Breakfast with Santa festivities at the Old Lutz School. The girls helped small children with crafts and other fun activities after the kids visited with Santa and enjoyed a nice breakfast.
The Little Women are the teenaged group of girls who are affiliated with, sponsored, supported and mentored by the Woman’s Club as they learn the joy and rewards of volunteerism and community service and accumulate service hours needed for graduation.

GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club recently presented a donation check of $300 to the CARES Organization in Pasco County. The Woman’s Club has for many years manned the telephone reassurance office, under the leadership of longtime volunteer Gloria Dale, in making daily calls to area seniors and shut-ins. These ladies spend hours speaking with elderly and infirm clients who may not have any other outside contacts. They also direct them to available services which may be needed, such as Meals on Wheels or other social or medical services, thereby making a big difference in many lives.
