GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club members’ team under the direction of Public Affairs Chair, Donna Losch, again volunteered at the “Support the Troops” warehouse in Wesley Chapel. Each month the clubwomen gather to sort and pack needed supplies and hygiene items for troops serving abroad. On this most recent workday, the ladies exceeded their prior record and packed 560 individual bags and 28 large boxes of donated items to be shipped to our military stationed overseas.
Give Day Tampa Bay May 3, 2016
Because of a sinkhole at Lake Park, GFWC Lutz-Land O Lakes Woman’s Club was unable to have their Annual Arts and Crafts Show, the biggest fundraiser for the club.
As a result, the funds for scholarships or to support veterans and others in need in our community will not be available.
Therefore, GFWC Lutz-Land O Lakes Woman’s Club is excited to be participating in Give Day Tampa Bay on May 3, 2016. GiveDayTampaBay, a part of a national day of giving, is May 3,2016 and is another way to raise funds for our Club. Donating is very easy. Go to our link at Give Day Tampa Bay HERE.
All donations received will remain in the community and is tax deductible, as we are a 501-3c organization.

It was a lovely affair for young girls to enjoy with their dolls and with club members helping to serve tea and goodies. The Woman’s Club has donated volunteer hours and financial support to both the Lutz and Land O’Lakes Libraries for more than 5 decades.
