GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB International Project Chair Madeline McCulloh recently delivered many cartons of gently used shoes donated by the club women to a local business serving as a collection point.
These donations made to the “Soles 4 Souls” organization, based in TN, create sustainable jobs through distribution of new and gently used shoes and clothing to 127 countries.

GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club members, under the direction of Education Chair, Pat Wagner, donated and delivered a truck filled with teachers’ needed supplies, paper products and cleaning items to Buchanan Middle School in Tampa in response to their request for help. The school was opened to the public and used as a temporary shelter during Hurricane Irma, during which time, teachers’ supply closets were virtually emptied of these important items.
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club President Karin D’Amico and members recently volunteered to serve 100’s of flapjacks during the 24th Annual Flapjack Festival and 5K Run in Land O’Lakes, organized by the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce and benefitting several charitable organizations



GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club members, under the direction of Chair Edwina R. Kraemer, recently helped prepare and serve lunch to the very fortunate recipients of the extremely well-trained graduating class of working dogs of “Canine Companions for Independence (CCI)”, providing the disabled with a new “leash on life” with more independence options.
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club members were present at the airport to welcome vets returning on the “Honor Flight” from Washington, D.C., along with their sister club members from District 8. The WW II vets are flown to Washington with personal escorts so they may visit the World War II, Korean and Viet Nam war memorials. Flags were flying and much cheering was heard as these elderly vets deplaned.
