GFWC Lutz-Land O Lakes Woman’s Club installs new members.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members attended the 20th Anniversary Celebration at the Baldomero Lopez Veterans’ Nursing Home in Land O’Lakes. The Woman’s Club has supported the veteran residents since the nursing home’s inception in 1999 through volunteerism and donations. A club team provides an evening of bingo entertainment and prizes for the veteran residents and serves refreshments on a monthly basis plus many other events for their benefit.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB Education Chair Pat Wagner and Conservation Chair Lonna Vizzari collaborated and joined their efforts recently when Education shared its bounty of donated children’s books with Conservation to be distributed free of charge to children participating in Earth Day activities at Crews Lake Wilderness Park. Additional books were donated to Eryn Williamson of the Forest Service as an educational tool when she speaks to groups of school children.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB celebrated Earth Day at Crews Lake Wilderness Park by helping children with nature crafting and passing out beautiful children’s books. The Club also donated a large number of books to Ms. Williamson of the Forest Service as tools when she speaks to groups of school children.
