GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB has collected many gently used shoes to be donated to “Soles4Souls”. Even during Covid-19, Member Sandi Marrow, Chair of the club Conservation Committee, has collected and delivered wagonloads of cartons to DSW, a local collection point, to be forwarded to the “Soles” organization, which provides opportunity to those in impoverished countries. The shoes are distributed to the needy, helps prevents injury and illness and adds personal dignity, as well as keeping these items out of landfills. These simple donations help to save the planet and change lives for people in these countries.
