GFWC Lutz–Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club presented a check for $2,000 from our Tombola fundraiser proceeds to Operation Patriots, supporting entertainment and cookouts for veterans at the Baldomero Lopez State Veterans’ Home. The check presentation took place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Home in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. This generous donation reflects the club’s strong commitment to community service and honoring those who have proudly served our country.

Twenty-eight “Green Shirt Ladies” delivered 921 pounds of food to the local St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and an additional 974 pounds to Christian Social Services to replenish their pantries. Both pantries had requested peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti and pasta sauce.
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club participated in a Day of Service at Angels Senior Living, organizing a bingo activity to bring joy and companionship to residents. Club members donated snacks, puzzle books and hygiene products, which were used as prizes and shared with residents.

The GFWC Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club held a Bunco and luncheon fundraiser to help support Sunrise of Pasco County. a shelter for women and children victims of domestic and sexual violence. In addition to a monetary donation, club members filled up the Sunrise representative’s vehicle with supplies for the women and children at the shelter. Tamika Thomas Simpson from the GFWC Plant City Woman’s Club was our guest speaker.

The GFWC Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Woman’s club participated in the Tampa Bay area Strides against Breast Cancer Walk held at Raymond James Stadium. Members held several fundraisers prior to the event, manned the Welcome tent, and several completed the 3 mile walk.
