GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members have wrapped up their huge annual Flea Market fundraiser at the Old Lutz School and wish to thank all who have contributed to its success, whether by generous donations of goods or by their purchases.  The Flea was a big success and will go far in providing scholarship awards as well as funding the club’s many projects benefitting our community and beyond.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB team of members recently attended the dedication of the newly built home for a veteran and family at the Tunnels to Towers community in Land O’Lakes.  The club women supported this project and came bearing various housewarming gifts for the new resident family, the most important of which were fire extinguishers.  The T2T Organization has been providing mortgage-free homes to first-responder and veterans’ families since 9/11.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members and guests enjoyed a delicious luncheon and a very lively auction to fundraise for ARTS4ALL, which organization provides arts, music, animation and cultural programs and experiences for students and adults with disabilities and challenges.  The auction was a great success and was conducted along the lines of “Let’s Make a Deal” with beautiful prizes with a few ‘zonks’ thrown in.

GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB celebrated its members’ winning Arts & Crafts entries at the GFWC District 8 competition.  Nine 1^st Place Blue Ribbon club  winners will now advance to statewide competition at the upcoming GFWC Florida State Convention.  Karin D’Amico’s beautiful quilt entry not only won a 1^st Place ribbon but the “BEST IN SHOW” prize.  Heartiest congratulations to Ms. D’Amico and good luck wishes for winning statewide in April.
