We have a craft day once a month and every week during the summer. Things made are used at the senior center, for meals on wheels and are sold to members at our annual boutique. We also sell our crafts at the arts and craft show in Dec. All craft days are held at the Lutz Community Center.
Prize Winning Float – 4th of July parade 2013
The Lutz-Land O Lakes Woman’s Club is a sponsor of the 4th of July celebration held every year in Lutz.
This year Lutz also celebrated their 100th birthday.
A parade is held with over 70 entries. We won a prize for most patriotic entry and also the Grand Marshall Prize.
Our club also sponsors a candidate for Gov’na of Lutz which is a fund raiser for the Lutz Community.

Arts and Craft Show – Lake Park 2012
The Arts and Craft Show is held each year the first week end in Dec. at Lake Park on Dale Mabry near Van Dyke. Over 250 vendors. Last year attendance was over 20,000 per day.

Domestic Violence Benefit
A Domestic Violence shower was held in August to benefit victims of domestic violence at shelters in Pasco county. Members donated items for children and women which included everything from diapers to shampoo and towels. A small flea market was held and lunch provided. All proceeds from this event went to the shelters.
GFWC Lutz Land O’ Lakes Womens Club
GFWC Lutz Land O’ Lakes Womens Club is a service organization dedicated to making our community a better place to live, work and play. We are an organization of 90 members of diverse backgrounds and capabilities. Our projects include everything from telephone assurance to the elderly to building a float for the Forth of July Parade.
Our club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, one of the largest and oldest international philanthropic organizations. It is headquartered in Washington, DC. Members support art, education, healthy lifestyle and international peace and understanding.
