GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members participated in the Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraiser held at the MOSI campus. The clubwomen together with their teen-sponsored club, GFWC Little Women of Lutz, collaborated to form a very enthusiastic team. This year’s team theme was “Pirates of the Cure-ibbean” with the ladies and young women dressed in colorful pirate costumes and hats. Despite torrential downpours, the team was able to raise over $1200 to benefit research in finding a cure for cancer.
