GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB members have long supported the Humane Society of Tampa Bay with many donations over the years. This year, club member Elaine Pittman, who is a/k/a The Plant Lady and a/k/a The Quilt Master in the Lutz community, has devoted countless hours handcrafting this beautiful quilt with an adopt/rescue a pet theme, which she has presented to Ms. Varchi of the Humane Society to be used as an auction item in its annual “Island Paws Party” fundraiser to benefit the shelter. Donations of pet food and comfort items for the animals were also delivered on behalf of the Woman’s Club.
