GFWC Lutz –Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club is gearing up for its Annual Flea Market on Friday and Saturday, March 4 & March 5, 2016 at the Historic Old Lutz School. The club needs your donations of good usable household items, clothing, linens, décor, sports & children’s items, etc. Please drop off your donations at the Old Lutz School, 18819 US Highway 41, Lutz, FL on any Monday or Wednesday beginning on FEB. 15th from 9 a.m. to noon. The Woman’s Club is a 501 (c) 3 not-for profit organization and can provide a tax deductible receipt. All donations should be clean and in working order. Large appliances and sleeper sofas cannot be accepted.
This is a very popular sale which helps the community both by recycling useable items and as a great source of finding treasures at bargain prices. The GFWC Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club belongs to one of the world’s largest and oldest volunteer organizations. Funds raised through the Flea Market will be redistributed to various local charities and non-profits as well as college scholarship grants to area students. Community support this year is particularly important due to the cancellation of the club’s largest fundraiser, the Lutz Arts & Crafts show due to a sinkhole opening in Lake Park.
The club can arrange to pick up large furniture pieces. To schedule, please call Phyllis at (813) 949-1937 or Pat at (813) 948-4752 .
