GFWC LUTZ-LAND O’LAKES WOMAN’S CLUB will hostess a FUN Fundraiser Brunch / Game Day on Thurs., October 3, 2019 to benefit an area Domestic Abuse Shelter residents’ needs.
We ask that guests donate a new or gently used handbag or tote filled with (new) personal items which the shelter residents could use such as: Kleenex, lipsticks, soaps, shampoo, hair products, panty liners, hygiene items, lotions, fragrances, etc.
WHEN: THURS. OCT. 3 – 10 a.m. Fun Games (Left, Right & Center, etc.) will begin; Brunch will follow at Noon.
WHERE: LUTZ COMMUNITY CENTER, beside Lutz Library.
DONATION: $15 per person including delicious HOMEMADE brunch buffet, beverages, desserts AND tons of game and door prizes and opportunity drawings.
IMPORTANT: Wear PURPLE, the designated color of Domestic Violence Awareness, from head to toe or just a piece. Don’t have, then purple hair or nail polish will do…..
Public is MOST WELCOME.
Meet at the Lutz Community Center at 7:45 if carpooling.
Walk begins at 9 a.m. and finishes about 11:00 a.m.
Walk to the Hospital (2 miles or less) or as far as you want to walk (turn around spots throughout the walk OR
be a supporter and cheer for the cause on the sidelines.
Wear your pink bras, tutu, etc. and/or green shirts.
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat and comfortable shoes.
Bring a chair if you want to sit and cheer.
