The GFWC Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club was organized and founded March 4, 1960.
The Club’s Mission Statement:
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club is a woman’s service.
Organization working through volunteer activities to improve their homes, communities, nation, world, and those that inhabit them.
Club History
The gerbera daisy was chosen as the club flower and green and white was chosen as the club colors. The club motto was chosen as “Serve Today for a Better Tomorrow” and Mrs. Dottie Wasdon was chosen as the first President.
Meetings
The club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month. General Meetings are held at Heritage Park in Land O’ Lakes. Craft meetings will be at the Lutz Civic Center. See schedule here.
